Learn everything you need to know to produce your first film.

About

The Pennsylvania Film School will provide students and prospective filmmakers with the guidelines needed to build a movie from the script up. It will offer insight and personal experience from people who have worked on projects ranging from the independent forum, to the studio world, from shoestring budget, to big budget, from horror to comedy and every genre in between.

The seminar focuses on two ideas; first, how to use your personal voice both creatively and commercially.  Second, how to make your film in developmental stages. Stories are told one scene at a time, films are shot one day at a time and budgets are acquired one dollar at a time.  The Pennsylvania Film School will show you the steps.

The Pennsylvania Film School realizes a number of filmmakers have a great movie in their heads, but few actually take the steps to realize it. The thought of producing a film is intimidating; its execution is difficult. Stories are told one scene at a time, films are shot one day at a time and budgets are acquired one dollar at a time. These are just a few of the parts that add up to the whole of a great film.

The school will provide not just the technical knowledge needed, but also a unique breakdown that allows students to take the gargantuan concept of a film and create it in developmental stages.
